Sixth grade has been learning about the different body systems and how they work together. To experience how the respiratory and circulatory systems work together, the class took their breathing rate as well as pulse before doing exercises. They then did a range of exercises and then compared their new rates to their previous ones.
Teens as Teachers, what a fantastic program! Maycee led the group in the exercise: "Who you can Look up to". One of our future teachers!
Due to a scheduling conflict, the local oral interp competition has been moved to Wednesday, October 9th.

Ahoy!! We just finished up our first competition of the year in Platte. Very hot, I couldn't tell if it was the sun or how 🔥🔥🔥 we were!
Its been a busy week learning about D in preschool! We read fun books....one of them was If You Give a Dog a 🍩 Donut and then we made donut decorations for our lockers. We also decorated our names with dot markers, played doctor and dominoes, and painted and colored dinosaur pictures!
