Today we remember the legacy of the Plankinton Pirates and the former school site where two precious lives were lost, and many lives changed forever. Fifth grade did a nod to the history of PHS as their parade theme this year, and learned about days of the Plankinton Pirates, the school explosion, and moving forward after that tragic moment in PHS History.

We would like to send a special thank you to the VFW Post 6554, Aurora County Auxiliary 6554, Maycee, and Connor Spinar for a great Veterans Day Program today at the school. Also, thanks to the students for being a part of the program with their musical talents!

The Plankinton Oral Interp team participated in district competition today in Mitchell. Congrats to Jenna Haak for advancing to Region competition on November 24th. Noah Fink and Jocelynn Cranny are alternates.
Veterans Day program at 10:00 in the gym tomorrow. All students & staff are encouraged to wear red, white, & blue.
Although there wasn't much snow, and it may not stick around, the playground is covered in it! Please send snow pants, boots, hats, and gloves with your kids tomorrow so they can have fun in the snow!
