South Dakota Department of Transportation is recognizing "Walk to School Day" on October 4th. If you do not live close enough to walk, try and fit a little extra walking into your day! The DOT workers will be at the front doors in the morning to give each student a bracelet in recognition of this day!
Multimedia class got some great practice in livestream last night at the home Volleyball game! Not too shabby for their first time out!

The 5th and 6th grade classes were able to see some interesting Zoo animals today as Great Plains Zoo brought a mobile unit to Plankinton. Ms. Olsen was not a fan of any of the creatures that came to visit!
The fourth grade was able to see some animals Monday morning and pet a box turtle thanks to the Great Plains Zoo!

The MVP Lady Titans Volleyball play KWL in White Lake on October 10th. They are doing a fundraiser for the Aurora County Cancer Fund! Please support this great cause in White Lake! They are selling shirts and taking silent auction basket donations.
The preschoolers were excited to go to computers with Mrs. Tobin. Ipad time is so much fun!

The preschoolers have been busy learning about the letters in their names and this week we focused on C by making crowns. This allowed us to practice fine motor skills too!
The 6th Grade visited the High School Science class to look through the microscopes. Thanks to Mr. Brakke and some high school science students for helping out today!
